(Major Depressive Disorder)
"She (Emily) didn't just have the rug pulled out from under her, she had the rug, the home, the husband, the... her entire life gone, even the health insurance. - Dr. Siebert:"
"I can finally sleep. I have some energy. We had sex. - Emily"
"I'm glad she's seeing a man this time. I think that will help...She never felt seen by her father. Then her husband ends up in jail and she is abandoned again. I'd be happy to see her have a different kind of experience. - Dr. Siebert:"
"Dr. Banks, I really need to talk to you. I went to your office but you weren't there so I came here and um, can we just go talk?... I was getting on the subway and it was like when I was in the car. I have to go to work. I just need five minutes. - Emily"
Time Entertainment 曾訪問Dr.
"A number of years ago I had a patient who was having an affair, came in here every week like he was going to confession, cried, repented, didn't stop. Then one day he comes in and says it's over, finally got a handle on his issues like some great epiphany. It was about six or seven years later his wife turns up and says he has a whole other family in another state. He'd been lying to her and he was lying to me. The kids blamed me. The wife blamed me. Even the patient blamed me. There were times I blamed me. The point is, the cardiologist could see it coming from the tests. It's in the blood. But who can see the lies? - Dr. Siebert"
